January Updates and What’s to Come in 2026

Is it Spring Yet?

As we begin the 2026 winter season in the frigid northeast, my dry skin becomes the inspiration to create.  I have been alternating between lotion and body butter, finding that body butter best suits my skin during these months.  It’s a constant battle to keep the itch away.

With another winter storm looming, my hopes are already set on an early spring.  I love that we look to a groundhog named Phil to predict the arrival of spring.

On those rare but sunny 20-degree days, I find myself motivated to continue creating and expanding my skincare line.  I wanted to share what you can expect from Peonies & Petals in the year ahead.

Addition of New Products

Along with beautiful new soap scents, I’m excited to say that I will also be adding a new line of body lotion.  After receiving many requests for a peony scent (of course that only makes sense) I have finally found one that I love! The body lotion will likely take the place of body butter in the summer, as the body butter melts in the hot summer sun.  Sugar scrubs may also make an appearance.

Improving the Look of the Brand

I have been longing to create a new updated look for Peonies & Petals. After hours of struggling with Canva templates, pre-designed logos and labels, I have decided to hire a professional. Stay tuned for a fresh, updated look for our labels and logo.  The original design was created years ago by me and my (now) 5-year-old and it felt like the perfect time for an upgrade!

The She Shed!

Since I’ve completely taken over the kitchen and cluttered our guest room, my husband and I thought it was time for a space of my own!  My master plan was to overwhelm him with products and ingredients strewn everywhere which somehow resulted in a gorgeous little shed on our property.  We are currently outfitting it with heat, electricity and shiplap.  I’m trying my best to channel Joanna Gaines vibes.  Pictures to come in the next few months!

Farmer’s Markets

I have applied to some of the busier farmer’s markets for the summer season with the goal of reaching more people.  Turns out this small business gig is a lot of work!

Farmers Market

I still plan to attend local markets (Hopkinton & Ashland), but also hope to be in Providence, RI and Somerville, MA for a few markets as well. I will post my market schedule once all the dates are finalized.

Thank You!

I have learned so much in the last year.  From what customers want, to feedback, it has helped to better Peonies & Petals products.  So, thank you! If there is something that works well or doesn’t, I have appreciated the honest feedback along the way.

I’m looking forward to a great 2026 year with you all. Thank you for your support.
